But Allan was never a passive collector. He studied movements, learned to identify reference numbers by sight, and spent countless hours in online forums and at watch meetups absorbing every piece of knowledge he could find. He attended trade shows, visited dealers, and built relationships with collectors across Canada who shared his obsession with mechanical excellence.
